All eyes on China CPC meeting as polices for next 5 years formulate

BEIJING (Pajhwok): With the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to be held in the next coming days, international media and community analyzing the past five years and to predict what policies for next five years will be formulated.                  

The phrase “building a community of shared future for humanity,” was written into the report of the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012.

Five years on, the term is a now concrete plan with a clear direction and widespread approval which have gained hundreds of significant achievements for the international community and the comprehensive plan for prosperity for the whole worldinfo-icon especially developing and emerging economies known as “Belt and Road Initiative”.

With its own development and becoming increasingly closer to the center of the world stage, China has been injecting positive energy into the international community in pursuit of better global governance over recent years.

To build a community of shared future for mankind, President Xi put forward the Belt and Road Initiative. Over 100 countries and international organizations support the plan and a large number of early harvest projects are already making a difference to the lives of ordinary people.

Socialism with Chinese characteristics, with the Communist Party of China (CPC) at the helm, has played a highly instrumental role in social, cultural, economic and political arenas. CPC has formed a civil societyinfo-icon in China where people are able to exercise their fundamental rights, i.e., the rights to life, liberty and property, without obstacles. The true democracy is felt in Chinese society since men and womeninfo-icon are equal in rights and dignity and all ethnic groups are treated with respect regardless of their caste, color and creed.

Now as the opening of the 19th Communist Party of China (CPC) National Congress is in the offing, struggles for a sustainable development needs to be continued.

As the world's second largest economy and the biggest contributor of global economic growth, China's innovative concepts on improving global governance and promoting global peace and common prosperity have gained wide recognition and support from other countries.

Undergoing structural reforms, China is implementing its new concept of innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development, eyeing a quality growth model driven by innovation.

Meanwhile, the country is assuming its international responsibility to promote common development with other countries in the interconnected world.

Equality, mutual respect and win-win cooperation feature in the Chinese plans, which also safeguard the irreversible trend of globalization.

China has been actively assuming its international responsibility and participating in global governance by putting forward new concepts, thoughts and plans to reshape the global governance system.

19th Congress will reaffirm China's commitment to reform and opening-up, and to the fair treatment of foreign investors and will provide for additional reform and opening.

Other than this, significant session will also provide the guidelines and way forward for the foreign policy of China and its role in international affairs.

China being a responsible stakeholder and peace maker have a big role to play in Afghanistaninfo-icon considering its infrastructural development including peace and stability.

Historically, Afghanistan enjoys very stable and healthy relation with China and the Afghan government has also good relationship with Communist Party of China.

In September, Zhou Yongkang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau and Secretary of the Political and Legislative Affairs Committee of the CPC Central Committee, visited Afghanistan in 2013, the first visit to Afghanistan by a Chinese national leader in 46 years.

Economic cooperation between the two countries was strengthened and bilateral trade volume kept growing. China took an active part in the economic reconstructioninfo-icon of Afghanistan. In 2012, China continued its aids projects in Afghanistan. In June, construction of the Amu Darya oil field project started by the China National Petroleum Corporation.

At the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, a cross-party young MP delegation headed by Arifullah Pashtoon, member of the House of Elders and chairman of the Commission for International Relations of the National Assembly of Afghanistan, has also visited China in 2012.

Dou Enyong, assistant minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met in the International Department with a delegation of political parties in the parliament of Afghanistan headed by former Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Saleh Saljuqi in 2015.

Dou said that it has been a consistent policy of the CPC and the Chinese government to consolidate and develop friendly relations with Afghanistan, and that China firmly supports Afghanistan in its efforts to maintain stability and prom development.

After the 19th CPC session, role of China in international community will be more visible and important for the peaceful development of emerging economies.
