3 civilians, 5 Taliban injured in Nangarhar blasts

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Five militants and three civilians have been injured in two separate bomb explosions in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Sunday.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that unidentified gunmen threw a hand-grenade at a corolla vehicle in Mamli area of Khogyani district late on Saturday night.

He said two children and one woman were wounded in the grenade attack and their condition was said to be stable.

Separately, five militants were wounded when one of the landmines they were making went off inside a mosqueinfo-icon in Momand Dara district.  

He said militants were making landmines in the mosque in 28 Weyala area when the blast occurred,

The Talibaninfo-icon have not yet commented about any of the two incidents.
