KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Renowned astrologer Abdullah Kandahari has predicted that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Afghanistaninfo-icon on Sunday (June 25).

He told Pajhwok Afghan News the month of Ramazan would be of 29 days and the moon of Shawal could be sighted at sunset in Faizabad, the capital of northeastern Badakhshan province.

The final and formal announcement of Eid-ul-Fitr would be made by the Afghanistan Supreme Court (SC).

Kandahari said the Shawal moon could be sighted in most cities for seven minutes and in the entire country the moon would be visible for 40 minutes.
