Alleged suicide bomber captured in Paktika
KABUL (Pajhwok): Intelligence operatives have detained an alleged would-be suicide bomber in the Yusafkhel district of southeastern Paktika province, an official said on Friday.
The attacker was apprehended on Thursday by the provincial National Directorate of Security personnel before he could reach his target, the governor’s spokesman, Mohammad Rahman Ayaz, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
An explosives-filled jacket wrapped around his body was also recovered from the detainee who was currently being interrogated, Ayaz said.
