Indonesia grants Afghan students 100 scholarships
"The Indonesian government would provide scholarship for 100 Afghan students," Muhadjir Effendy was quoted as saying by the news agency ANTARA.
The scholarships are part of a bilateral cooperation agreement signed between Indonesia and Afghanistan, according to the minister. Jakarta has also built the Indonesia Islamic Centre (IIC) in Kabul.
Additionally, construction of Assalam Mosque in IIC complex, which has the capacity to accommodate 2500 people, has been completed. Health and education facilities will also be completed soon.
