Zabul collision leaves 6 passengers dead, 10 wounded
KALAT (Pajhwok): Six people were killed and 10 others wounded on Friday when a passenger vehicle collided with a truck in the Shahr-i-Safa district of southern Zabul province.
Abdul Samad Durrani, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the head-on collision occurred in the Ghashi Minar area of the town at around 9am.
The ill-fated passenger bus, belonging to the Mirwais Neeka Transport Company, was on its way from Kandahar to Kabul. The truck was heading from Zabul to Kandahar, he said.
Durrani added the bus driver and cleaner were among the fatalities. The casualties were evacuated to the Kalat Civil Hospital.
